aero glass work my supported card

Hi, i recently installed Vista BETA 2 (Build 5384) but i cannot get the Aero Glass theme to work. My card is ATI radaeon 9550 256mb DDR. I installed the Vista beta drivers from ATI and it still doesn't work. I don't have the Aero option in "appearance". My card only scores 2 in the performance rating app, though my other specs are all 4+. Any suggestions appreciated.

On-board video adapter is de-activated in the BIOS?
